Okay, I finally watched "The Number 23." I must admit, I really like Jim Carrey anyways, so this was much easier to watch than say..."1408." I was totally intrigued by the mind games, the trickery, the happenstance, the mystery, and depth. I was moved by the suspense thriller mood with a "Sixth Sense" hue, and a third person twice removed kinda twist!
In comments: Your feedback. Who will try to respond in 23 letters or less? And a bonus for admitting if whether or not you actually tried your name and/were sucked into the Numerology exercises in the extras!

I hated this movie. I thought it was just too far out there, sorry. I wouldn't recomend this to anyone.
I did not try the Numerology exercises with my name. But my guess is that you did ;}
Nina~Why is your whole first name there now? Please don't hate. And guess what? I DIDN'T try it!!!! *Blowing Raspberry*
tera I can't believe you busted me out!!!!!!!!! I was hiding!
Awwww man!!! I have sooo been on the short bus today (ask Rey)!!! Excuse me while I pick up my helmet!!!
Uhhhhh, but won't it link to your page if someone clicks on your name? It's in blue which means you're a blogger???
come pick me up at the bus stop.
LOL! So you feel my pain huh?
I have not seen it yet Tera.
Well Susan, make sure you watch it and let me know what you think!
Once I saw that they had Jim Carrey playing the part of Michael Jordan I was out on this flick. Who do they have playing Charles Oakley, Ray Romano?
My Sweet~Aside from the fact that I knew MJ's number but had to Google to find out what the hell Charles Oakley's number was...c'mon, don't be like that! Have an open mind!
Ray Romano...LMAO!!!
I haven't seen it yet but I will. Avoiding reading the comments about it in the meantime.
BD
Haven't seen it. will see it, I think.
BD~Hmmm, perhaps I should have added, "Potential, Possible, Almost Sorta Kinda Spoiler Alert?"
Es~Sure you should! I guess it's a matter of taste though...I like to watch things that I can't always figure out so easily!
no one should watch this movie
Anonymous~Thanks for the input!
I actually didn't get a whole lot of information from the name thing.
Q~Ya think?!
this is in my netflis q, i am going to take your word on it being good.
Belle~Again...I was more INTRIGUED than anything...I mean it's not "The Departed" good or anything, so watch with caution :)
Haven't seen it yet either.
Kofi~Well if you get a chance to see it, let me know what you think!
Haven't seen it but I LOVE a good mindfuck! Sixth Sense, Vanilla Sky, Blair Witch, Usual Suspects...love 'em all. So I'm going to give this a try!
D Dub~Nicely put!
haven't seen it.
This movie is awful and a waste of time. Don't bother.
Look here Nina...oops, I mean Anonymous...we got your point way back when you tried to "disguise" yourself as Janina!!! ;-D
LOL!!!!! How did you know :)
Hope you're well, Tera.
Susan~Yes I am, and thanks for checking on me! I was in Atlanta for the past few days :)
ok, i see that you've been commenting so i know you're still alive. hope atlanta was enjoyable, or at the very least, not damageing.
Heather~Yes, Atlanta was great...it IS great to be back though!
I saw this movie and had planned to blog about it, but was so disappointed. It just didn't do it for me.
Numerology makes me feel schizophrenic. That's 34 letters. 34 and 23...that's so weird, isn't it? OMG, I am freaking myself out.
Mist you sure it's the Numerology that's making you feel that way?
I'm surprised there are so many that haven't seen this movie. I thought this movie had great potential and enjoyed the plot and overall storyline, but the "23 conspiracy" was stretched a little too far, in my opinion. NS and I wouldn't have called it good, but we didn't think it was a complete waste of movie-night, either.
Woo~Yeah, you make a good point...it wasn't a "wasted watch." And not to mention, I am ALWAYS biased when my favorite actors are featured in movies!
