I Was Tagged!!!

Thanks to my lovely new friend T. Michelle Theus (also referred to as "T" by me in comments), I have to post! Fuckety Fuck! Anyways (it took me 3 times to type that just now), at least this is an interesting one...and just guess who I am going to tag!

1. I am absotively, posilutely, undeniably, hopelessly, and inextricably afraid of............................FROGS! I will never forget the day I was in the back yard, and of course my son did not possess this little tidbit of knowledge and came running up to me announcing excitedly, "Mommy, look what I found!" My eyes bulged, my palms got all sweaty, my mouth felt like I had been chewing on chalk, and I immediately began to hyperventilate...It was a true brush with death! No, I don't want to frapping go on Maury for help to try to overcome my fear, and...ahem...my ass cheek is just waiting for "smootches" if you're one those who think the shit is funny.

2. I wasn't diagnosed with asthma until I turned 23.

3. I once thought I "heard" a worm "breathing" in my apple when I was a child.

4. I still live in denial but really can't successfully pronounce the word "handkerchief" if I say it normally, and struggle when I say it syllable by syllable! It sounds like haint-cha-ker or haint-ker-cher.

5. I missed 32 days of school my Senior year and STILL graduated 8th in my class (which started out with 339 students and ended up somewhere around 250).

6. Most of you who have known me for a while know this, but you new Blog Friends don't...I was born with 6 fingers on each hand. It's called Polydactily. My boys find it quite amusing when they look at their baby pictures! In fact, if I had 100 boys, they would all have it, because I believe it is a dominant trait carried on the X chromosome...go figure!

7. I'm not certain, but I'm about 91.73% sure that I could live without chocolate.

Pamela, MrT, Nina, Susan, Heather, Alan, and Churlita...guess what? YOU'RE IT!!!

Can I save this for when I'm finished with my trip reports?

NoR~Sure...I'll let you slide this time, but you better do it when you're done!

Oy.

There is nothing odd or peculiar about me in any way whatsoever. What could I possibly say?

I think I'm a bit dull as of late. I'll try to think up 7 things though...

Something amusing, though, if you look back to my blog one year ago today, I actually did this "7 facts" thing. I could be totally lame and just use that one.

Don't worry...I'll come up with something new just for you. :)

Does Nina still have a blog? hee hee

Actually, you tagged Pamela. It wasn't me. Whew. Saved by the use of the wrong moniker.

MrT~Right...LOL!

Susan~As well you should!

Nance~I often have to check to make sure she's still there!

NoR~Nice try

I love froggies!!! I used to want one as a pet, but my mom was against it...I later found out why (hint: Red and White with elephants). Now that I'm older, I have all the frogs I want (*smile*, no elephants).

regarding #2 -- a friend of mine just got diagnosed. She's 27.

Changed her life.

At least you won't waste your time kissing any frogs trying to find your prince, like I have...

I've done this one a few times now. I'll do it if I can think of something new and different that's weird about me, as opposed to all those lame, tired things that are weird about me.

BCU~So hmmm...is your mom a Delta? Either that or I rode the short bus today *wink.

Kofi~I bet

Churlita~I'm sure you can come up with something!

Omg, imagine if they had made you dissect one in school? That would've been a nightmare for you =p Do you know where the phobia comes from? Like did you get scared by one as a kid?

lol @ #3 and #4 and that is so interesting about the fingers. My grandfather had that and I never knew that about the x chromosome or even that it was genetic. You learn something new everyday!

you didnt' tell me you tagged me. I don't like you treating me like the red-headed step child.

I love the "worm breathing" comment. That would be quite horrifying. But not as horrifying as life without chocolate. That would be the true horror! ; )

OK, I've been away far too long! Why do you have YOUR lips plasted on your sidebar :)

And I'm about to bust you out...if you don't fix your age.

LOVE YOU!

T~I literally almost failed that lab because I wouldn't touch the frog...thank God for smart, able and willing lab partners! I was okay when we dissected the rats, worms, fetal pigs and cats though???

Torrance~Now how mean would that be? LOL!

Nina~Well the red-headed part is partially right! ;-)

Anali~Somehow I knew you would say that about the chocolate :-) The worm experience WAS quite horrible...especially because all of my aunts laughed at me!

Nina~Okay, you've KNOW about the lips since my "Say It Loud" post where I profess my love of my lips and decided at that point it was appropriate to express that...hell you even commented on them! LOL!

And eat it! The age thing was an oversight! Hmph!

I think my percentage on living w/o chocolate is about the same...
