Dream Lover

Okay Blogland...It is near the end of the fiscal year for us at work, so I have been busy busy BUSY, I apologize NoR, but after you read this post, it may serve as my chance at redemption :)

I have times before alluded to my clairvoyance, but never really go in depth. I am confused at times about what it all means and am often amazed at how my dreams tend to "come true." A few of my friends contend that I have "the gift," but I am still trying to sort it all out.

Well (and Gyuss, this may disappoint you) lately, I have been a bit upset with the IT Guy---for personal reasons, so I haven't been speaking to him for about a week now. You all know that I also made a vow of celibacy (which I recently...slightly...relapsed)...but I digress. I had a dream last night...

Pardon my candor Nance, but this was the most, passionate, erotic, intense, heated, wild, FERVENT exchange of emotion I have felt in YEARS! I tossed and turned...I moaned and shuddered. Finally the intensity built up to a point where to describe it as a volcano eruption would truly be an understatement...I woke up.

As I lay in my bed with a grin on one side...biting my lip on the other side---my body was weak, and I was in a total state of euphoria as I stumbled into the bathroom for my shower. My legs trembled and the feel of the tiny pricklies through my body coupled with the adrenaline rush totally consumed me...the IT Guy had rocked. My. World.

I had a presentation today...of course I was in high spirits and any negative vibe was totally deflected...I was on Cloud 9. As I exited the elevator, lo and behold, I nearly overhear the IT Guy telling a co-worker that he........................had a dream about me.

As I walked to my car...arm hairs standing erect and goosebumps scattered about, I wondered.

Upon my return to work, I was curious...damn, I had to break the silent treatment (which he probably didn't give a shit about) of the week...I IM'd him. His reply was, "I'm about to call you."

As he shared the details (which I begged not to hear descriptively) a certain Twilight Zone type of fear had taken over my body by storm...it was almost totally synonymous to MY dream...even the shower we took together. How could we possibly have pretty much the SAME dream, on the SAME night?

Now I ask you Blogland...what in the HELL is this all about?!?!?!

Now you've got everyone thinking I'm a goody goody by apologizing to me for being candid about your sex dream. In the words of the Prophet Britney S: 'I'm not that innocent.'

But...did you have to use the word "erect" in your post!?!? LOL LOL LOL LOL

Before you think you're psychic and not just horny, maybe you'd better find out if the IT guy has sexy dreams about you ALL THE TIME. If he does, then the coincidence isn't all that impressive. Hee hee.

Nance~You crack me up! I will keep that in mind :) And you DO have a good point there...but how do I ask him that (hmmmm)?

Anyways, I say it is STILL a strange coincidence for us to BOTH dream about that last night...totally bizarre!

NoRegrets said...

Wow. It's not coincidence. but don't ask me to explain it either. Damn. Nice dream!

Oh, and FLACCID.

You don't have to talk to the IT guy to bang him. I'm just sayin.

Wow!!!!! And I have to say again... Wow!!!! Dreams really have a big impact on me too and can completely change my mood for at least a day depending on the dream.

There is a really cool movie called "Waking Life." It's animated, but very existential and makes you think about what's real. Is the dream the reality or is our waking life? We are only making an assumption that our waking life is real. In the big scheme of things, do we really know for sure? You have to see this movie!

Regardless of whether dreams are the reality or not, obviously you and the IT guy are very connected on a subconscious level.

Tera said...

NoR~I won't ask you to explain it...promise. Because I can't explain the shit either!

Flaccid...yes, nice. But please understand only for the purposes of the double-c, because I was dealing with nothing flaccid in that dream!!! LMAO!

Gyuss~I always love your insight...and you do make a great point :)

Anali~This is not the first time I've heard about that! I will DEFINITELY have see it! And hmmm...you make a good point as well. I'm just so confused about what to do about it. That dream was totally INTENSE!

Now I want to find an IT guy to bang. Thanks, Tera..;)

Tera said...

Susan~Glad to be of assistance! :)

Nate said...

IT guys are the best!

Tera said...

Gyuss~I have the feeling that you may be slightly biased!

M. Robert Turnage said...

No. Gyuss is completely right on this one. IT guys have the it-factor.

You aren't sure how they do it, and you get a little sleepy when they explain their technique, but they can work miracle workers. It takes a very special person to work in IT.

M. Robert Turnage said...

Can work miracles. Not can work miracle workers. They ARE miracle workers who can work miracles.

Apparently, I can't type when I'm on a roll.

Tera said...

MrT~What do you do for a living?

And according to my dream, you had that right the first time! ;-)

M. Robert Turnage said...

My official job title is "Consultant" but I... um... work in IT.

Tera said...

MrT~LMAO!

NoRegrets said...

Ah, so MRT, they lull you into this zoned state with talk of IT stuff and then BAM! Is that it?

M. Robert Turnage said...

Nor, that is it, exactly! Which is why IT pick up lines seem so unimpressive. They lull you into a false sense of security.

For example, "Sounds like a router issue" really means, "Your body's name must be Visa, because it's everywhere I want to be."

NoRegrets said...

LOL!

NoRegrets said...

OK, well that's the pickup line. But the blather after 'sounds like a router issue' is the stuff that makes you zone out and then the pounce happens.

Susan said...

"Your body's name must be Visa, because it's everywhere I want to be."

I seriously almost shot water out my nose. It burrrnns.

Tera said...

I am SOOO loving this exchange, it is hilarious!!! Susan don't you hate when that happens?!

NoRegrets said...

I love the fact that you call him
Mr. T.

M. Robert Turnage said...

M.R.T. are my initials, and my Dad called me, "Mr. T" long before the wildly popular actor decided to pity the fools.

I also have the same birthday as Gary Colman, which made me really proud growing up. And the "Diff'rent Strokes" episode with Mr. T in it was, like, the highlight of my life.

Until I went into IT, that is. Now, all I think about are routers, spreadsheets, and pivot tables.

I thought it was because in order to type as much as we do, and say all those big words, our fingers and tongues have to be really dextrous!

dmarks said...

These things all start out pretty innocently. And on the third or fourth night, suddenly you two are facing off against Freddie Kreuger.

Tera said...

NoR~Isn't fascinating though? :)

MrT~Damn it! I thought I had started something!

Gyuss~Please...tell me more about this dextrous tongue of yours...

Dmarks~LMFAO!!!!!!!!!

Last time i dreamed the same thing as someone else, it came true, so shve your legs and light some candles.

The Bear Maiden said...

I had that happen to me. A year later it apparently didn't mean mucha nuthin', I'm sorry to say. But it was wild. Especially since the dreams even coincided in time... like, exactly the same time.

It's haunted me ever since.

Tera said...

Belle~Ooooh la la!! Will do!

Maiden~Welcome! Damn...you may have just shot my dream down ;-)
